Markets & news
Only what touches what you own.
Not a market wrap and not the whole wire with your ticker highlighted. Prices for the instruments you hold, the day’s moves in pounds against your own positions, and headlines that survived an entity check before they reached you.
01 · In pounds, not percent
A 4% move on a small position is not news.
Percentages flatten everything you hold to the same size. The day’s moves are shown as what they did to your money — biggest impact first, in each direction — so the row at the top is the one that actually mattered.
Both directions, always. A panel that showed only risers would be a different product with a different purpose.
How today’s moves touched your money — biggest impact first, in each direction.
Top — holdings that gained today
Flop — holdings that fell today

02 · Attribution
Their words, their link, their name.
Every row carries the publisher and a working canonical link, and the whole row is that link. We do not summarise a story, do not write our own headline over it, and do not show one that cannot name its source.
The publisher list is a decision, not a feed setting: it keeps roughly three stories in twenty, and that is the trade it exists to make — fewer headlines, all from outlets we chose.
6 outlets today. Dates are the article’s own publication date, never “3h ago” computed from when you happened to look.
03 · What we hold on every asset
Key stats on every asset. Company financials on every share.
Open any share and you get its market capitalisation, its trailing earnings per share, its price-to-earnings multiple, its trailing revenue and how much of it actually floats — beside the price, on the same screen.
A coin gets the figures that describe a coin: market capitalisation, twenty-four-hour volume, circulating supply and its all-time high, from CoinGecko and converted to pounds. Different questions, because a token has no earnings.
Funds and commodities get the price stats and no company figures, and their pages say so in a sentence rather than drawing five empty boxes. An ETF has no earnings per share, no price-to-earnings multiple and no revenue of its own; that is not a gap in what we collect.
Figures a company reports in dollars are shown in pounds at the same rate as its price, so the multiple below divides two numbers in one currency. The quarter they cover is named, because a trailing figure is only meaningful with its period attached.
