Performance & P&L
Getting richer, or just topping up?
A line going up is not an achievement if you paid the difference in yourself. Oxvera draws what you added and what the market made as two separate things, so the question has an answer on the screen.
Cumulative P&L
Realised and unrealised together, since you started.
01 · The shape of it
Two areas, one baseline.
The faint area is money you paid in. The lime area on top of it is what the market added — or, when a portfolio is under its cost, what it took away, drawn below the line rather than flattened to nothing.
“Contributions” here is the same invested figure the rest of the product uses — the cumulative cash flow through your accounts — not a second definition invented for this chart. One definition means the two screens cannot tell you different things about the same money.
Contribution arithmetic only. Nothing here projects a return or assumes market growth.
Growth vs contributions
Am I getting richer, or just topping up?
02 · The source of it
Which holdings are actually doing it.
A total tells you the size of the answer and never its source. This ranks every position by how much of the figure it is responsible for — all-time, or over a window you choose — so a portfolio carried by one position cannot look evenly healthy.
Each bar is that asset’s own contribution in pounds, not a share of a percentage, so gains and losses sit on the same scale and offset each other honestly.
What's driving your P&L
By asset, over the period you choose.
Realised and unrealised together, all-time — these add up to your Total P&L.
03 · Why you can trust the figure
The breakdown adds up to the total.
Realised plus unrealised, with fees where your imports recorded them, resolving to the same Total P&L the rest of the product shows. Not a chart drawn beside the number — a decomposition of it, asserted by a test rather than described by a caption.
Where a cost is unknown, it is named as an estimate and its share is stated. Missing data reads “—”, never a convincing zero.
Performance breakdown
Each bar drills down to the transactions behind it.
Price gain plus realised — the figure at the top of the page.
Shown for context — these are real figures that are not added into the total above.
04 · Over time
Daily, monthly, and how far you fell.
Every day the market was open, grouped into months you can open, with the deepest fall from a peak stated as a figure rather than left for you to spot on a line.
Only days priced against the market on both sides count as trading days. A day rebuilt from cost is not drawn as a flat day — it reads as no data, because that is what it is.
Monthly P&L

- May 2026: £17.72
- Jun 2026: £118.73
- Jul 2026: £80.27
- Aug 2026: £400.80
- Sept 2026: £10.39
Drawdown
Decline from peak, from our own snapshot history.
Measured across 120 market-priced days. No volatility or Sharpe figures — daily snapshots with gaps can't support them honestly.
Best & worst day
05 · All of it
The screen itself, with nothing taken out.
Seven figures across the top, five views beneath them, and OxAi reading the ones already on the page. This is the component the signed-in product renders — the same code, given a fixed set of figures instead of your account.
AAPL has contributed £770.38 (+20.3%) to your P&L so far — of that, £120.00 is realised (locked in from sales) and £650.38 is unrealised (on paper, still held).
BTC has contributed £429.70 (+12.5%) to your P&L so far — of that, £0.00 is realised (locked in from sales) and £429.70 is unrealised (on paper, still held).
XRP has contributed £381.60 (+16.7%) to your P&L so far — of that, £0.00 is realised (locked in from sales) and £381.60 is unrealised (on paper, still held).
